
The trend towards the “Lean Office” continues to grow. An increasing number of managers is identifying that waste, long search times, high throughput times, bottlenecks, redundancy and high space requirements reduce margins and constrain productivity in the administrative area. The relief of “tidying up” and better organisation in the office is often mentioned. But an ”improved living“ campaign is not sufficient to control the processes.
